Yu Hong Bridge
The newly built Tianjing Pavilion is located on the ridge of Luoquan Peninsula, while Guanyin Pavilion remains on the coast at the southern end of the peninsula, with the newly built coastal highway running between them. For the safety of tourists and the integration of the scenic area, a sky bridge was built in 2000 across the north-south central axis of Tianjing Pavilion, Guanyin Pavilion, and Shimulozi in the scenic area, crossing the East Coastal Highway at the foot of Yu'an Mountain. The bridge is 12 meters high, with a clearance (distance between the bridge bottom and the ground) of 5.5 meters, and a span of 12.5 meters. It is covered with glazed tile roofs and is made of reinforced concrete, yet possesses a national architectural style. It is particularly magnificent against the backdrop of blue sky, green mountains, and blue water. Especially in the sunlight, it glitters with golden light, appearing majestic and mysterious. From afar, it looks like a rainbow lying across the ridge, hence the name Yu Hong Bridge.

Spot Description
The newly built Tianjing Pavilion is located on the ridge of Luoquan Peninsula, while Guanyin Pavilion remains on the coast at the southern end of the peninsula, with the newly built coastal highway running between them. For the safety of tourists and the integration of the scenic area, a bridge was built in 2000 on the north-south central axis of the East Coastal Highway across the foot of Yu'an Mountain, connecting Tianjing Pavilion, Guanyin Pavilion, and Shimulozi. The bridge is 12 meters high, with a clearance (distance between the bridge bottom and the ground) of 5.5 meters, and a span of 12.5 meters. It is covered with glazed tile roofs and is made of reinforced concrete, yet it has a national architectural style. It is particularly magnificent against the backdrop of blue sky, green mountains, and blue water. Especially in the sunlight, the golden light glitters, making it appear majestic and mysterious. From afar, it looks like a rainbow lying across the ridge, hence the name Yu Hong Bridge.
The Yu Hong Bridge is integrated with the land gate of the scenic area. The north side of the Yu Hong Bridge is connected to the gate, which is located to the south and opens from the west side towards the north of the coastal road. Tourists must enter through the coastal road to access the gate and then ascend the Yu Hong Bridge from the left side.
The Yu Hong Bridge is 3 meters wide, with iron railings on both sides and bench-style seats. Pedestrians can sit and rest and chat, reminiscent of the "marriage bridge" popular in southwestern minority areas, which is convenient for dating and love. The Yu Hong Bridge is built along the ridge, with stairs on both sides of the bridge piers at the south end for pedestrians to go up and down. The stairs going north after the intersection are separated by handrails, divided into left and right to avoid congestion when pedestrians go up and down. The ends and ceiling of the bridge are decorated with murals of the Wangfu Cloud story. From the Yu Hong Bridge, one can view Jinsuo Island and the east sea scenery to the east, and overlook Cang'er and the ancient city of Dali and the Three Pagodas in the distance to the west. Looking up, one can see the murals and text descriptions of Wangfu Cloud, which is pleasing to the eye and full of interest. Tourists who ascend the Yu Hong Bridge often stop involuntarily to enjoy the scenery and take photos with each other.
On the west side of the Yu Hong Bridge, there is a couplet on the two bridge pillars: "Ascend the Jing Pavilion to view the beautiful scenery of Cang'er; Circle Erhai Lake to experience the customs of the Bai people." On the east side, the left bridge pier has a large character inscribed: "Tianjing Pavilion Scenic Area Welcomes You!"
There is a couplet at the land gate of the scenic area: "Ascend the Jing Pavilion to enter the fairyland, leaving the mundane world; Worship Guanyin to make a Buddhist connection, praying for blessings and eliminating disasters."
